I have been asked, if we still fall into sin.  Sin is one of the tricks of satan to make us forget about what Jesus did for you and I when HE died on the cross.

Satan is trying to make us believe that Jesus lied to us.  If you are not strong in your faith or do not know what the Word says, then satan can get you to believe you are still a sinner.

If satan can get you to believe that you still walk in sin or can fall back into sin, then what would be the reason for your belief or source of faith.

This kind of thinking would eliminate why Jesus died on the cross.

Remember Jesus came to take away the sins of the world.

If Jesus took away the sins, how can we still be under sin?

As a believer, washed with the blood of Jesus Christ, you are clean. You are cleansed of all sins. You have come into the light.

In 1 John 1: 6-7, if we say that we have fellowship with God and walk in darkness; we lie and do not practice the truth.  But, if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us of all sin.

Jesus tells us in John 8:12 that He is the light of the world. He who follows Him shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.

When you walk in the light, you are always in the light.  If you should stumble, you stumble in the light and the blood of Jesus cleans you. You do not stumble into darkness.  God is light and in Him is NO DARKNESS – AT ALL. 1 John 1:5

Look at it this way; you are in your house and you stumble. Where are you stumbling? You stumble in your own house, Right. You did not end up outside of your enclosed protective structure just because you stumbled.

“The same as in nature as in the Spirit”

You do not have to go into a two or three-day prayer of forgiveness or any other ritual to be back in the light. You were never in danger of being in darkness just because you stumbled.

Furthermore, Jesus is not coming back down to earth and go through it all again just because you or I sinned.

God will forever back up His Word. The Word says that, Jesus came to take away the sins of the world from the beginning of time to the end of all times. Therefore, your sins and mine have been placed on Jesus at the cross. So forevermore, His rightness is on you.

This does not mean you should go around sinning. When we sometimes stumble or have a bad thought; just know that His blood is washing us clean.

These things I write to you so that you may not sin. 1 John 2:1-2

The Forerunner sending you back to the Bible.  Do not take my word for it, read it for yourself, so you will know.  Then, pass the “Good News” on to someone else.

Steps for a Balanced Prayer:

1. Praise – Praises bring God into your prayer. Matt.6:9, PS 63:3, Heb. 13:15, Ps. 22:3.

Our Father in heaven, Hollowed be Your Name, because You’re loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Therefore, by Him, let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God. This is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.  You are Holy Enthroned in the praises of Israel.

2. Waiting – Just hold still. Is. 40:31, Is. 26:3.

However, those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not become faint.  The Lord will keep you in perfect peace,  whose mind is stayed on Him.  Because you trust in the Lord.

 3. Confession – Your sins, your un-forgiveness. 1 John 1:9, Ps 66:18, Num. 23:19, Ps 139:23-24.

If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to clears us from all unrighteousness.  If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.  God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do?  Or has He spoken and will He not make it good?

Search me, O God and know my heart; try me and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.

God Bless you

Jesus says, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow Me. I walk ahead of them and they follow Me because they recognize My voice, they will not follow a stranger, they will run from him because they don’t recognize his voice.”

If you read back in John 10:11 Jesus tells us “He is the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”                                                                                                                                                         In reading Proverbs 27:23 you read, “Be diligent to know the faces of your flocks and attend to your herds. I used the original Hebrew translation [FACE] here. If you are reading a King James Version, it translates to “state” and another Bible translation means, “condition”.

To get a good understanding of what Jesus was saying to us when He said, “My sheep know My voice and they follow Me.” I had to do some research on shepherds and sheep.

How do sheep know their shepherd’s voice? Why will they follow him?  When we read in John, Jesus tells us that, “His sheep only follow Him.” Because we don’t herd anymore we have a harder time understanding how sheep act and react to their shepherd.

Once I understood about shepherds and sheep, it all came together for me.

A shepherd spends all his time with the sheep. He leads them to feed and to get water; he brings them to greener and greener fields, every day back and forth.  He sleeps in front of them so that no sheep can get out and no wolf can get in, without him knowing about it. Sheep do not live in gated areas and are free to roam. They just don’t leave until the shepherd leads the way.  When a wolf comes around, the sheep run towards the shepherd.

The wolf will come. You can count on that!  (Satan will show up.) The wolf comes by night to steal, kill, and destroy. The Bible tells us, the enemy (Satan) comes by night to steal, kill, and destroy.

Did you know that sheep are snow-white only at birth and right after shearing?

Let’s think about that?

At birth, right before the world (dirt) can get on them and change their color they are snow-white. Jesus lets us know that underneath all that dirt sheep are as white as snow. Shearing is when you cut away the wool from the sheep; you also cut away dirt thereby turning them white as snow. Sheep have wool, not hair, so they need to be sheared each year. Without shearing, they would suffer terribly in the heat of this world.

Jesus lets us know that by his blood we can be washed (sheared) and turned as “white as snow”. Without His cleansing, we would suffer terribly from the sins (dirt/heat) of this world. The blood of Jesus shears us and our sins are washed away (worldly dirt). Therefore, when you plead the blood of Jesus over someone you are washing him or her “white as snow”. Amen

I Fought satan and Won!

I fought satan and won!  ‘Thanks be to God’.

It all started about the time I was getting a real understanding of who God was and why He sent Jesus to save us.

Understanding who Jesus was and the Holy Spirit helped me to understand who I was in Jesus.

As I was growing in my understanding of Jesus, I started learning His different names and that understanding of Him made my mission very clear.

God had His hand on my life back then and I just did not know as much about Him as I should’ve.  All I knew was God is real and if I believed in Jesus Christ, I could call on Him and He would answer. If I knocked the door would be opened, if I looked for Him I would find Him. Therefore, I went out on a hunt for Jesus.  Not just with what the Preacher or someone had said about Him but for personal knowledge.  I wanted to know Him like I knew myself.   I found Him standing there waiting on me to come to Him.

Then one morning it happened. First, I will define this as a “dream” for you readers, but let me say I know the difference between a dream and when something is real.

Let me tell you from the onset that after I came out of this (“dream”) state; my room, the TV show that I was watching, my bed and what I was wearing were all the same.

In the Bible there are many places where people have entered into a dream state as the angels talked to them or God showed them things that were happening right around them.

God gave me this “dream” as follows;

I was fighting this man. He was trying to kill me.  He had broken into the house and he was in my bedroom with his hands around my neck. We were fighting on the floor along my bed. I took the light off my nightstand and hit him with it. I remember saying to myself in my dream, ‘You’d better really hit him hard, he is really trying to kill you’. So I hit him hard with the light and told him that I was a child of God. “You cannot hurt me”. Right then, he turned into a monster, looking like what I think satan look like.  We begin fighting again and I was trying to remember what my Pastor said.  My Pastor use to say, “Know the Word” so when you need it, it will come to you. However, all I could remember was “I am a child of the living God, you cannot hurt me”.  I pleaded the blood of Jesus over me by calling out to God.  I continued telling this man that statement repeatedly as we were fighting. And the more I said it the stronger the words came out. I believe it was because my faith became stronger. Then he turned into a pile of dust at the foot of my bed. There was a window over the head of my bed. I said to myself ‘If I try to put him (the dust) out the window, he will try taking me with him and he did try’.  As he was pulling me out of the window, I proclaimed again, “I am a child of God’s, I command you to let me go in the name of Jesus Christ”. Then the dust let go and flew away.

Afterwards, I had peace like no other. I never had that dream again.

I took authority over that situation in Jesus Name.

We all must learn to take our authority over every part of our lives in Jesus Name.

God Bless you
