flowing the crowdNOV.2014ARE YOU FOLLOWING THE CROWD?

Do you find yourself going from church to church?
Are you going to a church because someone told you that this was where everyone around your neighborhood is going.
Do you study about differient gods because your friends are?
Do find youself on the internet reading about other gods?
Before moving from church to church, ask God about the move and be willing to wait on Him to answer.
Sometimes we are in a place for just a short period of time and the times we are there may not be about us.
You can be there just to learn what not to do, so God has you there until you get what you are suppose to learn.
Don’t run over here or there only because you hear that they are getting blessed there. Maybe you’ll look at what is happening over at a church and say, “I’m going over there because they are believers and their prayers are being answered?”
We sometimes can be so determined to get what we want that when we go to God, we begin to tell Him the answer we will accept. Even if God says NO you want to hear YES. You’ll find a way to take “the no” and make it fit into your “yes”.
Before you say, “God did not answer my prayers,” be sure that you have accepted the answer He’s given you.
If you have a personal relationship with Jesus, He will bless you no matter where you are.
To think you have to be in a certian place to get God’s blessings, you are considered a doubter in Jesus eyes; not knowing and not willing to seek out the truth.
Look at what James said about doubters: “Doubters are like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
Understanding God’s ways is like understanding your husband, wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend. You have to spend time with them and talk with them. If you are running around town and never have time for each other, do you really think that you will know each other any better?
The one you spend all your time with is the one that you know best. Can you say that Jesus is the one you know best?
If you only call on Him when you need something, do you truly believe that He will answer you? Or do you quickly dismiss that He hasn’t answered your prayers mainly beacuse you wanted someting right away?
Before moving from church to church ask God about the move and be willing to wait on Him for the answer.
Don’t run over here or there just to follow the crowd. Get your heart right, be willing to relie and trust in God and He will bless you know matter where you are.
Invite the Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and let Him lead you in the direction He wants you to go.
As you spend time with God, He will open up to you all His hidden nuggets that are in His word.
Just like in the natural as it is in the spirit; you will have a better understanding of and communication with God. He knows you already and you will know Him. He will call you His friend. A true friend comes to you when you call. He listens, comforts you, has patience, is gentle, and is full of love. A true friend is there no matter what the case may be.
God bless you
