Paul Speaks to the Roman (Part 1)
Look at the cover of this letter. You will see two different pictures.
One is of people, happy and reaching out to God and the other is of people wondering what is the Good News Paul is talking about.
Yes! Paul is talking to us today. We are just as the Romans were in Paul’s days. When you read the book of Romans, you see where Paul was addressing believers, nonbelievers and the ones who thought they knew it all, the ones who lived by the law.
Let me say first that the Book of Romans is what I call the base. It comes right after Acts, after Paul had received the Holy Spirit: with the power that gave him boldness to speak God’s Word.
Read what Paul tells each one of them.
Paul encourages the young believers in Roman to stay Holy and do not let anyone change them. He tells them how he prays for them day and night.
Paul identifiers what is God’s Good News. Romans 1:16-17
It is the power of God to bring salvation to everyone who believes; for the Jews first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Paul tells that we know right from wrong, “that the unrighteousness man knows because what may be known of God is manifested in them, for God has shown it to them.” (It is in your DNA).
God is angry at sinful, wicked people who push the truth away.
You know the true, you see Him in everything. You can clearly see His invisible qualities, His eternal power, and divine nature. Therefore, you have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.
Yes, you know God but you want worship Him or give thanks to Him.
You try to justify yourself by made-up foolish things of what God must be like. Calling yourself wise, you became an utter fool.
You worship the things that are created and not the creator. You call what is right, wrong and what is wrong, right. You try to fit your own desires.
Is God angry with you? Yes
Is there price to pay? Yes
If you are believer or a non-believer, remember that God is reading your heart, so please don’t just say something. If it is not in your heart you will do better not saying anything to justify yourself.
God loves you and He doesn’t want to lose you but He will let you go if you don’t change your heart. It is your free will. There is freedom in our Lord through Jesus Christ.
Here is what to pray:
Lord come into my life. I will make You my Lord and I’ll become your child. Teach me Your ways. Amen
Let be one of first to welcome you into the family.
God Bless you all
