PSAIM 23
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
David is saying:
God will give you food and rest. He will
Give you a peace of mind, He give you contentment.
He restores my soul: He restores your confident in Him.
He leads me in the path of righteousness for His
name’s sake. He leads you back to Him for His name is
Jehovah-Jireh (My Provider), Jehovah-Repheka
(My Healer), and Jehovah-Nissi (My Conqueror).

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your
rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Though I walk through the storms of life, I know nothing can
come against me because God is with me. His promises of
blessing and protection are with me and they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my
enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs
over.
You bless me with abundance; You cover me with love and
mercy; my cup runs over with joy.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.
Surely, God and His Spirit will be with me.
I will dwell in God presence forever. Amen

“THE POET”

Writing poetry is like
Writing words of the soul
Like feelings of the heart
Like love that never dies
Like hands that are never filled
Like ideas that never stops
Like dreams that never fade
Like thoughts of the mind that
bring you back to yesterday giving you today and the hope for tomorrow.

WITH HIS HANDS HE CREATED US

WITH HIS HANDS HE CREATED US

God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis1:27)

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue (overcome) it; have dominion (ruler) over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. (Genesis 1:28)

God did not say to subdue or have dominion over each other.  We were not put here as the rulers over man, but over all the fishes, birds in the air and animals.  God knew then that satan was coming into the world. In fact satan was already here. He wanted us to understand that we have dominion over the things on the earth so when satan used man to do things that would hurt us or do anything here on earth to us, we would not let it take us off course. We should take our authority over all things and put it behind us and keep going no matter what, because we know that we are the rulers of the earth and all that is in it.

Malachi 2:10 asks the question, “Have we not all one father?”       “Has not one God created us?”  Why do we deal treacherously with one another by profaning the covenant of their fathers?

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do well to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Knowing that by Him all things were created, those that are in heaven and those that is on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.  All things were created through Him and for Him.

Knowing that we are the rulers of the earth and understanding that completely; we will walk with authority and the things on this earth will not excite us but keep us grounded so we can keep our eyes and minds looking up.

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth, for you died with Christ, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.  Therefore, put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.  Because of these things, the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.  You yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy and filthy language out of your mouth.  Do not lie to one another since you have put away the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.(Colossians 3:2-10)

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. If anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must forgive.  But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

2 Corinthians 5:17 states, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.

If you are in Christ then hatred turns to love; anger turns to laughter; tears turn to smiles; you yourself turn and people see Christ in you, shining through you. You become more like your creator. Amen

PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD

Put on the Whole Armor of God

My friends, let me tell you that we are in a Spiritual War.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12-13

Let us understand what Apostle Paul is saying to us.

Let us this sentence in detail:

a) He said “we” (meaning you in the flesh) don’t wrestle with flesh and blood but in the spirit.

b) Against principalities (from Webster’s New World Dictionary – the rank, the territory ruled by a prince), c) against powers, d) against the ruler of the darkness of today’s time.

The Bible refers to satan as the prince of darkness.

Satan is the evil ruler, he comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

Revelation 12: 7-12 tells us a war broke out in heaven. Michael (the archangel) and his angels went forth to battle with the dragon and his angels.  However, they were defeated, and there was no room found for them in heaven any longer. This great dragon, the ancient serpent called the devil and satan, the one deceiving the whole world was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

e) Against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.

God lives in heaven right? But He all so lives in us so if God lives in us then we become a heavenly place and where ever we are and all around us is heavenly.

My beloved, lets read it with understanding.                                                                                                                                                                              For, I do not wrestle against people, but against satan, against falling angels, against all the rulers of darkness in today’s world, against satan’s wickedness coming against me.

However, do not be afraid for God has not given us a spirit of fear.

He gives us weapons to use. He has told us what we must do to be able to stand.

Put on whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand in the evil day.

Put on the helmet of salvation,

Put on the breastplate of Righteousness,

Girded you waist with Truth,

Take up the shield of Faith,

Holding on to the sword of the Spirit the word of God,

Shod your feet with the gospel of Peace,

Now we are ready and we can stand our ground.

Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Stay alert and be persistent in our prayers for all Christians everywhere.

This lesson came from the Book of Ephesians 6:12-18.

My friends, I pray that now you are ready.  When satan comes, you will know him, and know how to fight and stand your ground.

WHAT FIELD ARE YOU IN?

WHAT FIELD ARE YOU IN?

Jesus tells us in [Matthew 24:40] two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left He did not say what field or what the men were doing in the field.
Be ready, doing your Father’s business, “God’s will-God’s way.” Then, it really would not matter which one of the two men is with God- the one that was taken or the one that was left. What we do know is the one, that was doing “God’s will” is the one that is with God, even if he was left here to continue doing “the will of God” or if whisked away to heaven with the angels.
What field are you in and what are you doing in that field? Are you turning the ground to get it ready planting? Are you planting the seeds? Are you watering the seeds?

Ask yourself,” What field am I in and what am I doing in the field?”
Are you the Task Master, standing by watching everyone else do the work?
If you are pruning the crops or harvesting the crops, you are out of order. God is the only one that prunes and harvests the crops. God, His Word cuts off dead leaves. It is not your job to cut off any dead leaves. Just tell people what the Word says.
Our job is to till the ground, plant the seeds, and water the plants.
If you are tilling the ground, you are talking to people about God; letting them know who He is and what He will do for them.
If you are planting the seeds, you are telling people what God has done for you and what He will do for them.
If you are watering the grounds, you are encouraging a person; you are giving them scriptures to read. You remind them to keep their eyes on God. You are lifting them up.
Be ready! Doing your Father’s business, “God’s will-God’s way.” Then, it really wouldn’t matter which one of the two you were-“the one taken or the one left”.
